| If you’re ready to push your mural practice beyond the familiar, this 3-day immersive mural workshop (May 15–17 in Chester, Nebraska) is designed for you. Led by professional muralists Cindy Chinn, Tony Once, and Jody Barrilleaux, this hands-on experience blends traditional techniques with modern tools in a relaxed, creative retreat setting. You’ll experiment, learn, and create alongside fellow artists who are just as curious and motivated as you are. | ![]() |
🚀 What Makes This Workshop Different
This is not a lecture-based class; it’s a working studio experience. Over three focused days, you’ll explore:
- Brush, spray can, and spray gun mural techniques
- Digital images and scaling using Meta Quest VR tools
- Translating digital concepts to real-world surfaces
- Installing murals using Polytab methods
- Professional workflows you can apply immediately
You’ll work hands-on every day and leave with a finished mural element that reflects your own style and growth. And a ‘SWAG BAG’ filled with paints, brushes, supplies, AND a pair of Meta Quest 3S… (If you choose the All-Inclusive Retreat.)
Tuition:
Starting at $1,590 to $2,200… depending on whether you want to stay at a hotel for a private room or bring an RV. Or if you already have a pair of Meta Quest 3 or 3S goggles to use. (Meta 2 goggles will not work)
🌿 Create, Connect, and Recharge
Hosted in a fully equipped studio in rural Nebraska, this workshop offers space to focus, experiment, and connect — without distractions. With small class size (8–10 artists), personalized instruction, shared meals and lodging, everything is set up so you can do what you do best: create. Whether you’re a seasoned muralist or expanding into large-scale work, you’ll leave inspired, confident, and ready to paint bigger and smarter.
