It involves creating delicate designs by placing thin metal wires (called “cloisons”) onto a copper surface, then filling the spaces with powdered glass enamel. Once fired in a kiln, the colors fuse into a glossy, vibrant finish. The result? Stunning jewelry and decorative art that has been cherished through the ages.
